| Our Duty |
| The primary function of the Essex Fire Department is to provide a range of programs to Protect the lives and property of the inhabitants in this community from the adverse effects of fire, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature. |

| Our Membership |
Our membership has been selected from the local community to provide the required availability for Fire and Rescue services. All members are required to meet rigid aptitude and physical ability testing to ensure they are up for the job. |

| Current Vehicles |
| Currently we have 4 vehicles at Station #3. These vehicles give us the mobility we need to address emergency incidents in the community with speed, equipment and man power. Station 3 takes great pride in the maintenance and care of our vehicles and it shows. |

| Public Education |
